Hello, world. Today’s #WeeklyFluff is Farfor, a 3-year-old Siberian cat who loves to have his belly rubbed nonstop, even when he’s sleeping. “When I stop rubbing him, he will wake up and meow,” says Farfor’s human Alaa Ahmad Ali (@my_lulu_cat). “I will start rubbing him again, and he will go back to sleep.” With fur like that, it’s easy to comply.Photo by @my_lulu_cat

When it comes to carving an avocado, Vincenzo Scuruchi (@scuruchi) is a natural. 🥑 ⛏ “Carving seeds [like avocado pits] absolutely fascinates me,” says the psychologist living in Rome. “Life always comes forth from seeds. They’re a symbol of creation.”Vincenzo’s most playful sculptures are inspired by pop culture, and he likes to carve out iconic characters from the movies. “I’m a fan of cinema and especially of art cinema,” he says. “As a child I loved superheroes, comics and science fiction. Superheroes are a source of inspiration because they tie me to my past.”See two of Vincenzo’s three-hour food sculptures come to life, right now on our IGTV channel.Photo by @scuruchi

Come through, springtime. 🌸 🐶 Cookie, a 6-year-old teddy bear poodle from New York City, pops in to welcome the new season. “I’ve always been fascinated by photos of pets in blossoming flower fields,” says Cookie’s human Olia Saunders (@ps.ny). “Unfortunately there aren’t any flower fields in New York, so I decided to create my own.”Follow along as we share more of our favorite submissions to last weekend’s hashtag project, #WHPplayful.Photo by @ps.ny

Are. You. Ready? ⚡️🦄🤘The Nickelodeon (@nickelodeon) Kids’ Choice Awards are back, and we’re hanging out with two-time nominee JoJo Siwa (@itsjojosiwa), a past #KCA winner who knows a thing or two about that gooey green slime. “Getting slimed feels exactly like it looks. It’s wet and cold, but it’s such a big honor to be slimed,” says the 15-year-old, who is nominated this year for “Favorite Social Music Star” and “Favorite TV Host.”Speaking of favorites, JoJo shares some of hers — right now on our story

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPplayfulThe challenge this weekend is no work and all play. Make playtime even more playful, just like Bea (@beakonya) did with this featured image. Whatever it may be, share photos and videos of the activities that bring you joy.🤹‍♀️ Make it extra cheerful. Play dress up. Play with color. Use play on words. Or all of the above. Have fun and be creative while capturing these jolly good times.🤹‍♀️ Make your pets a part of it. No one is as playful as our fluffy friends. Share photos and videos of your dog, cat or alpaca during playtime.PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPplayful hashtag only to photos and videos shared over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. Hello, world. Today’s #WeeklyFluff is the Dalmatian duo Khaleesi and Django (@khaleesi.django.dalmatian), who prove life’s not always black and white — especially when they get caught stealing cheese from the kitchen. “Django runs very quickly to his spot, lies down and acts as though he is sleeping,” says their human Maria Bläser. “Khaleesi, on the other hand, immediately throws herself guiltily to the floor, grins from ear to ear and asks for forgiveness.”Photo by @khaleesi.django.dalmatian

Dani Burt’s (@dani.burt) leg was amputated above the knee after a motorcycle crash in 2004 that left her in a coma for 45 days. She went on to become a doctor of physical therapy and the first-ever women’s World Adaptive Surfing champion — but it wasn’t easy. “One of the biggest things I wish people realized about amputees is that you don’t just go in and get a leg,” she says. “You’re now wearing something that’s not really a part of you, but you have to make it a part of you.”On social media, Dani saw the need for someone to be real about life as an amputee. “I needed to know I wasn’t alone, but that was near impossible to find,” she says. “I have the platform, privilege and responsibility to do that loud and clear. I know what it feels like to be knocked down hard and I hope to make the path I had to travel on a little less bumpy for others.” —Reported by Kassy Cho (@kassy)This March, we’re collaborating with BuzzFeed News reporter and producer Kassy Cho of @world to find and highlight women around the globe who are making an impact in their local community and on Instagram. ❤️ Stay tuned here and on @world to see more. #WCW
