With real estate sales flagging in the city, one property developer in the Guangxi capital of Nanning tried employing a group of topless women to help sell its apartments. Turns out, not so great idea.
Chinese social media showing four shirtless women seated at the counter of the real estate agency’s sales office. Their breasts are covered with painted butterfly designs while their backs show floor plans for units available in the new South Station City residential community.
According to the developer, the marketing tactic had proven quite effective. The whole of Nanning knows about it!
The “**whole of Nanning**” also included the police and regulatory authorities. The real estate office is sealed after the news gone vial on social media.
